SYBL and DNA Players Take the Field with SHHS Varsity Raiders
On Friday, May 16, Shaker Heights Youth Baseball League (SYBL) and DNA Raider players joined the Shaker Heights High School Varsity Baseball Team for a spirited afternoon of community, connection, and America’s pastime.

Hosted at the SHHS Varsity Field, the inaugural Shaker Youth Baseball Day brought young players and their families together to cheer on the Shaker Heights Varsity Raiders in their matchup against the Euclid Panthers
Donning their team jerseys and hats, the SYBL and DNA players represented t-ball, coach pitch, Double A, Triple A, Pony League, 12U Travel, and 13U Travel. With strong turnout and smiling faces across the ballpark, the event offered a unique chance for younger players to feel part of the larger Shaker Heights High School baseball family.
Organized in partnership with Shaker Heights Varsity Baseball Coach Stefan English and the SHHS Varsity Team, the event marked a successful collaboration that celebrated the spirit of local youth sports and built bridges between generations of Shaker baseball players.
